The start of a brand new adventure.

[Arc]

A bright light in the sky shined in the night, illuminating the surroundings. The light masked the opening of a Digital Tunnel, in other words, a direct link from the Digital world to the Human world. Out of the hole a single figure begins to fall, this figure, a human, Lauru.

"Aaaaahhhh~" Lauru screamed as he began to plummet into the darkness below. The light from before was gone now, and he couldn't see a thing beneath him.

Three seconds went by before Lauru finally landed. Where? In the nearby lake. SPLASH. He began to kick his feet upon impact and swam up from where he landed in the water.

"Bah!" He gasped as his head poked out of the water.
"What the hell was that...where am I?" Lauru said as he slowly began to swim towards the land and started to climb out.

"You're in the Digital world, human!"

"Huh?" Before he could say another world, Lauru gasped as he looked to the figure who just spoke. A small little blob of a creature, purple in color with a bit of white on the front. "W-w-w-hat are you?"

"Well isn't it obvious? A Digimon, Digimon!"

"Oh man....what did I get thrown into..."

Frimon stopped suddenly. "What was that?" his fur seemed to grow static-y.

Amu looked around having heard a splash. She blinked as she saw two figures, one taller than her, and one Frimon's size.

Frimon blinked and his fur lay down. "Its just another digimon from the nursery, though I don't know who the taller one is." he said, looking at her.

Amu slowly walked over. "Hello?"

Coren opened his eyes, wondering where he was. Last thing he remembered was a bright light on his laptop, and he had a huge headache. He quickly looked around, and remembered why his head hurt.

"...I fell from the sky..?" He rubbed the top of his head in annoyance as he saw he'd landed on something soft, other than his head of course. "A bean-bag?" He looked around and saw what he could only call a nursery, just on a massive scale. He looked around in surprise, before hearing a voice beside him.

"Hi Coren!" He turned around him, surprised someone knew his name. Whay was more surprising was that it wasn't a someone, but a something. It was a small black ball with blue eyes and a y-shaped white mark on his forehead.

"What the-" He pushed away from the little black thing, and ended up slipping and hitting his face on the floor. It wasn't so bad, he'd tripped into harder floors before. "What are you?" The little guy frowned a bit.

"I'm a Digimon! Duh." Coren shook off the preliminary shock, and then looked at the little ball-dude with curiosity.

"...No idea what that is." Coren stood up, shaking out his legs for a moment. "But you certainly don't look menacing, at least. What's your name?"

"X-Mon!" He began to grin widely, which looked a little odd when it encompassed almost his entire face. Coren was about to ask another question when he heard something faint. X-Mon heard it as well.

"Was that another human?" X-Mon shrugged, though Coren couldn't quite figure out how. Balls can't shrug...

"We should go see." X-Mon bounced away before Coren could respond, and he could hop quite fast... Little guy's just full of surprises, eh?

[Arc]

Before Lauru could start a new array of questions to the "Digimon", he was interrupted by 4 new figures approaching his way.

"Eh? Who's there? More Digimon?" Lauru attempted to squint in the darkness to get a better look at the figures coming his way. He heard a faint voice from one of them, but couldn't make out what was said.

The purple blob shook it's head, or rather, it's body. "Those aren't Digimon! At least, two of them aren't~ The two who aren't smell just like your species!"

Lauru was dumbfounded for just a moment. "My species? Wait, you mean humans!?" He said as he waited for the figures to fully reveal themselves.

Amu was surprised as she walked closer to see two human guys, maybe slightly older than her. They each had a small blob with them. "More digimon, that doesn't surprise me, but more humans?!"

Frimon shook his head. "You humans seem to be popping up like Weedmon" He then looked at the Digimon, wondering, if it came down to a fight, if he could win.

Coren looked over everyone. "...I'll take that as a compliment or something." He was glad there were other humans, but the Digimon kind of unnerved him. Not for any real reason besides the fact that they're not human...

"So, the name's Coren Keitaro. I don't 'spouse there's any people around here?" He continued to check out the surroundings and kept an eye on the other two's Digimon. If worse came to worse, running probably wouldn't be too hard... X-Mon didn't look to heavy to carry.

"And I'm X-Mon!" X-Mon spoke with bubbly enthusiasm, which contrasted with Coren's calm tone. He quickly looked over the other two humans, and stifled a yawn. Besides that bit of unconsciousness, when did he sleep last..? He pushed such an unnecessary thought from his mind, and refocused.

[Arc]

Lauru was slightly startled by the appearance of these two new people and their Digimon. He first noticed the girl. She seemed young, well younger than him at least, and very cute. His gaze then turned to the other one, a male around his age, he couldn't see much of his features due to his dark clothing in the already dark filled night sky. He didn't pay much attention to their Digimon, they were just two other weird blobs to him.

"Weedmon?" He said as he scratched his head and looked at his own blob.

"That's the name of a Digimon! Oh right, I never introduced myself to you did I? My name is Dodomon!"

"Ahaha...Dodo..mon? Eh. Shouldn't you be extinct then?" Lauru said as he began to laugh at his own cold joke.

Dodomon simply stared blankly into his eyes before saying "Right...hilarious....ahem."

With a faint smirk on his face Lauru then began to introduce himself to the boy. "Oh, right. Well I'm Lauru. Damashii Lauru, and as you may have heard, this here is Dodomon." He took a slight glance at the girl to acknowledge her before speaking again. "I have no idea if there are other humans, you two are the first people I've met, and I just got here."

Amu looked nervously between the two males then sweat-dropped at the one's joke.
"It's nice to meet you both" she said as she bowed slightly, her hood falling revealing her blonde shoulder length hair that had a white headband in it. "My name is Amu Kise. I'm a 2nd Year in High School."

Frimon stepped up next. "Hiya! I'm Frimon, Amu-chan's partner. Nice to meet everyone."

Coren didn't care much for the other man's joke, but the fact he made one made Coren smile a small bit. He took off his hat and shook his head a bit, letting his hair come down properly. And by 'properly,' I totally mean 'messily'.

"It's nice to meet all of you, too!" Coren relaxed a bit when everyone was introduced, and smiled a bit more before sitting down.

"So, did anyone else end up take up high-flying to get here?" Coren rubbed the back of his head, glad that the impact had been cushioned by a bean-bag. "Kinda uncomfortable if ya ask me... Falling, that is." X-Mon jumped into Coren's lap and spun around a bit, and then began to hop.

"You're bouncy." Coren chuckled as he petted X-Mon on his head, who seemed to really enjoy it as he scrunched up happily.

[Arc]

Lauru took off his shoes after the Coren asked his question and began to dump the water out of them. "Hmm, yea. I fell from the sky, as crazy as that sounds, and fell into this lake here."

He took his socks off as well and began to wring the water out of them, he would have done this to all of his clothes as well but there were people around obviously.

"So then, I guess we are all new to this place, err, what was it called again?".

Dodomon jumped into the air matching Lauru's height.

"The...." Bounce. "Digit..." Bounce. "al Worl..." Bounce. "d!"

"Umm right, Digital World."

Amu nodded. "I fell too, and landed on poor Frimon's tail."

Frimon looked at his tail, which seemed fine now. Then it twitched and Frimon started chasing after it.

Amu giggled as she watched. She then looked at the device in her hand and showed it to the other two. "Do either of you have something like this? I was given this before I fell here." She asked them, tilting her head.

Coren quickly checked his pockets, seeing as he didn't remember anything like that, and pulled out his phone. Well, it was his phone. It was completely different now.

"Mine's shaped a bit different, but it looks similar. Looks like it ate my phone though..." Coren looked it over, examining it as best he could. "Don't 'spouse you know what it is?" X-Mon was rolling around on the ground right now, discovering that his unique ball shape let him roll for long periods of time...

"...I'm dizzy." X-Mon quickly hopped back on Coren's lap and yawned.

[Arc]

Lauru also checked his pockets, and looked around, but he found nothing.

"Well, I guess I'm the only one who doesn't have one. Do you know anything about it Dodomon?"

As soon as he was addressed Dodomon's furr shot up instantly and began to sweat.

"I uhhh...." He looked around all over the place, anywhere but Lauru's eyes. "Had yours but umm, I think I lost it?"

Lauru didn't realize the importance of this device, so hearing this bad news didn't really phase him in the least bit. "Well that's okay." He said. "It's not important after all right?"

"Umm....it's actually very important, your life depends on it!" Dodomon said before getting an idea. "Oh I know! Maybe I left it with Seasarmon, he gave it to me after all. We should go and see him, he can tell you all about those things too~".

Before Lauru could answer, Dodomon already began to hop along a dirt path, at the end of the path one could see lights. "Well okay I guess."

Frimon sat up at the guardian's name. "Ya! Seasarmon will know what to do!" He grinned. "Maybe he'll even tell us how to evolve!!"

With that Frimon bounced after Dodomon.

Amu blinked. "Evolve? This is a lot like the card game then...." she said to herself. She turned to the other two and smiled. "Shall we go?"

Coren shrugged, and stood up.

"I got no problems with that." X-Mon hopped onto Coren's shoulder, and started chasing his non-existent tail, for no apparent reason.

"Wheee!" X-Mon rolled down Coren's arm to the ground, spinning with a declaration of joy.

"Talk about easily distracted... Wait, what were we talking about..?" Coren threw in a joke as X-Mon rolled on his back and glared at Coren, which made him chuckle.

[Arc]

"Alright." Lauru said as he ran up to where Dodomon was. He didn't exactly follow him right away, not until the others agreed to.

"Psst Dodomon."

"Yeah?"

"Who is this Seasarmon guy exactly?"

"Hes the Guardian of this zone! He oversees all the newborn Digimon and makes sure to protect them from any evil lurking around."

"Huh? Evil?"

"Well yea, just like in your world there are evil Humans, there are evil Digimon here as well. I think that's why you Humans are being summoned here..."

"But how can we possibly hel-" Before Lauru could finish his sentence, they arrived at their destination, the core of this Nursery zone.

"It's night time, so most of the babies are sleeping right now, so let us head to the main hall, that is where Seasarmon is waiting for us!"

Lauru nodded as he proceeded to follow Dodomon. He wasn't sure if the other two were following along, since he hadn't really payed attention.

The two continued to walk until they came into a rather large building, it was covered in what seemed to be....a childish version of graffiti. Two large golden doors were the only entrance visible to this building, but below there seemed to be what looked like a doggy door.

"Come on!" Dodomon said as he entered through that very door.

Lauru tilted his head and walked towards the large gold door and began to push it. It wasn't as heavy as he though, and it didn't even creek in the slightest. Once opened he stepped inside. It looked very much like a Human church, rows of seats aligned in two columns, fire pillars encircled the whole room while one giant torch lay in the center. In front of the giant torch there was a figure, it seemed to look like a giant dog with a horn on it's head, but of course it wasn't.

"Welcome Humans, I've been expecting you!" The figure said before fully revealing himself. "I am Seasarmon, please to meet you."

Amu followed Lauru through the doggy door then her eyes widened at Seasarmon. "Waaah! Inu-chan! Kawaii! she ran up to him and started petting him, smiling.

Frimon froze, with a shocked expression on his face. "Amu....-chan...."

Coren sighed as she tackled Seasermon. X-Mon just looked at Coren as if he were asking if this was normal.

"...Eh," was all he cared to say. X-Mon sighed and hopped back onto Coren's arm.

"Humans are weeeird."

"Only the girls, my friend. Only the girls..." X-Mon nodded, as if Coren were imparting word of sage-like wisdom.

"You're weird too."

"Thank you." X-Mon just looked at him funny for a moment. "What? Weird is the new normal." X-Mon chuckled at that, and went back to chasing a non-existent tail.

[Arc]

"Haaaa?" Was Lauru's only response to what Amu just did to this new Digimon.

"Oi oi." Dodomon said. "Don't go around touching a Guardian like that, he's not a pet!"

Seasarmon chuckled a bit before brushing Amu away. "Now, now Dodomon, it's alright. See, I'm fine." He said before stepping away for a moment. He returned with something in his mouth.

"Hea, I fink dis belonfs to you." (Here I think this belongs to you.)

He then opened his mouth and dropped something into Lauru's hands.

"That is a digivice. The other two already have theirs." He said before sitting down. "Simply put, that thing there is what your partners need to evolve, to become stronger."

"Yea, yea! I remember that now." Dodomon said as he jumped up and down. "We have to get stronger to protect everyone, right Seasarmon?"

Seasarmon nodded. "I'm sure you are wanting to know why it is exactly that you are here. Correct? Well, I'm afraid I don't know the full details myself other than the current condition of this place. You see, very recently there has been a great outburst of evil Digimon. These Digimon were not a threat at first, for the Digital World has it's own protectors, but they....have gotten stronger, too strong for us to handle alone. I was told to care for any Humans that made their way through here and brief them on our current state, I know not much else about your relevance here, you'll have to ask someone else I'm afraid."

"So, you're saying we have to fight for you guys? Why should we do that?"

Seasarmon began to speak once more. "Well, for one, once they completely take over this world, I'm sure they will have their eyes on your world. And second, if you don't fight here and get stronger, you'll die before you even get the chance to get back to your world."

Lauru sighed as he heard this and went to sit down in one of the seats in the cathedral-like room. "Jeeze...".

Dodomon promptly followed and simply sat next to him.

Amu smiled at Seasarmon then stepped back by Frimon and listened.

Frimon grinned. "Yatta! I was right, you can help us evolve!" He tilted his head to the side, thinking. "I wonder what cool Digimon I'll become..."

Amu looked worried when Seasarmon finished talking. "I don't really mind helping you guys....but I don't want to die..." As she said this her eyes filled with tears.

Frimon jumped into her arms. "Don't worry Amu-chan, I'll evolve and get stronger to protect you."

Amu looked at him. "Frimon..."
